About Sunnyvale Martial Arts Academy

Sunnyvale Martial Arts Academy was founded in 1988 by Kwan Jang Nim Teri Lee. Starting out with 1,700 square feet and 0 students, she devoted herself to share and teach students of all ages the techniques and values of martial arts. Through decades of hard work and dedication the school has grown into what it is today. In 2014, her oldest son Jian Lee decided to follow in his mother’s foot steps to teach alongside her upon graduating from college. In addition to the Lee family there is a team of exceptional instructors who have devoted their lives to sharing their knowledge and love of martial arts. The collective mission is that every student receives fun and challenging classes while making strides towards their individual goals.
